just another day at coney island…

it doesn’t take long to notice that coney is a special place. always replete with activity and characters, it’s a must-see for out-of-towners and locals alike.

the relics of the old park loom over the boardwalk.

vendors pace the length of the beach hawking everything from kites to cotton candy.

coney island wouldn’t be coney island without it’s usual cast of characters.

this gentleman argued his sobriety by demonstrating some serious dance moves. it was a strong move.

this guy must be making a killing selling portraits with his snakes for $5 a pop.

the new rides can’t hide the park’s old time feel.

lines lines lines lines.

i love the colors at coney.

of course, it wouldn’t be new york if there weren’t some cops hanging around!

  1. I am in love with your photos. died for the first one, then died again for the image of the woman in front of the purple/orange wall – sick color contrast!! you don’t edit your photos much, do you? I feel like the shots speak for themselves since the composition is so great and you were outdoors.

  2. wow i forgot how crazy and amazing coney can be!
