project 365: day #2

today i took some shots on my commute from gramercy to grand central. laden with bags and camera gear, as per usual. but i always manage to find a place for my camera around my neck. this scene caught my eye for a couple of reasons: the geometry of the pipes and beams and the narrative it tells about city life. everybody is in their own space going about their business. when walking through the city, new yorkers put up invisible barriers. they’re not interacting at all. god, i love the city!
